Here's how private workshops work:

  • Michelle will work with you directly to customize a workshop and/or farm tour experience to fit your needs.

  • Every private experience will include a full farm tour, opportunity to help harvest veggies from the farm, and a hands-on culinary experience and family style meal.

  • Private workshops typically last between 2-3 hours. Pricing varies based on class topic, group size, and venue.

EAT LIKE A FARMER

A Farmbelly favorite! This is a perfect class for larger groups looking to learn more about sourcing, preparing, and cooking with seasonal + local produce. During this class, we will cover:

Sourcing Local Produce - learn all the insider tips + tricks for sourcing from the best local farmers.

Knife Skills - learn how to select, sharpen/hone, and safely chop, dice, mince, and julienne using a chefs knife.

Herbs 101 -  learn how to purchase, store, chop, and cook with fresh and dried herbs. We will make our own herb butter creations to enjoy with toasted sourdough and freshly harvested veggies.

Homemade Vinaigrettes - learn the art of making healthy + flavorful vinaigrettes at home. Everyone makes their own unique salad dressing to enjoy with a big farmers market salad.


PICKLING + FERMENTING 101

Master the art of quick pickling and fermenting with Farmer + Chef Michelle Aronson! You'll walk away empowered with new knife skills, a better understanding of the science behind pickling/fermented foods, a detailed recipe packet, and a belly full of farm fresh goodness.

KNIFE SKILLS 101

The key to confidence in the kitchen starts with mastering a few basic knife skills. In this hands-on class you will learn the ins and outs of selecting and sharpening your chef’s knife, as well as the basics of chopping, dicing, mincing - all  while whipping up a delicious, locally sourced meal!

COOKING WITH HERBS

In this class, you’ll learn the proper techniques for purchasing, storing, and cooking with your favorite fresh and dried culinary herbs, plus tips on growing your own herbs at home!
